All car rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or at the time of vehicle collection. This document outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, fees, and your obligations related to the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, off-roading, or engaging in reckless behavior. The transport of hazardous materials is not permitted. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable. The vehicle should not be used for purposes outside its intended design or exceed specified passenger and weight limits. Driving beyond the agreed geographical boundaries without prior consent is not allowed.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed under English and Welsh law, Car Hire Ilkeston is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
